In the Nutrition  section I have talked about how diets don’t work, top tips and portion size.

One of the services I offer is nutritional analysis.  You fill in a food diary, recording EVERYTHING you eat and drink (including alcohol) for a minimum of 3 days (5 is better).  One of the days has to be a weekend.

Try and make them typical days.  If you are going to a wedding or a do where there is going to be loads of food and booze, best start the diary after that.

Try and be as accurate as possible.  The analysis can only be as good as the information you give me.

The analysis looks at the quality and quantity of your diet.

I will also calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) which is the amount of calories you need just to keep your body ticking over.  I explain in diets don’t work why it is important not to restrict your calorie intake below your BMR.
